The Colossal Squid
The colossal squid has caught the world's attention, and no wonder – since 1925, only two of nine adult specimens reported have been complete. Come face to face with Te Papa's colossal squid: 4.2m long and weighing 495 kg - nearly half a tonne! Then explore the life of a squid through computer interactives and 3-D animation.
