Gavin Reedy, Iwi Development Officer

Ko Hikurangi te maunga.
Ko Waiapu te awa.
Ko Ngāti Porou te iwi.
Ko Gavin Reedy tōku ingoa.

I am forty-something years old. I attended Pencarrow School, Wainui-o-mata Intermediate, and Wainui-o-mata College. My mum and dad are still living in our whānau house in Wainui-o-mata, which we moved into around 1958. I left Wellington in 1979 for a holiday to the Halcombe area with my wife, Denise, and have only just returned to take up this position with Te Papa.
